Medical Physics Internship 2023
Overview
Medical physics is an applied branch of physics that enables practitioners to contribute to the delivery of healthcare involving radiation of various types. It directly influences the quality and safety of patient care practices.
This training is designed for participants to be oriented to the advanced treatment planning techniques and quality assurance of the delivery machines.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the program, the intern will be able to:
• Understand the role of the medical physicist in the radiation oncology.
• Understand clinical treatment planning.
